The Run It music video guides us through the ancestral connection from the present day to the distant past, using the idea of blood memory - the concept that the experiences of one generation are passed on to the next through DNA. In the music video, inspiration is pulled from photos and memories highlighting the actual pictures of Amy’s relatives who have passed on, helping her craft the lyrics and melody of a new song. The Run It story shares Amy's connections with her great-grandmother’s experiences in Guatemala, a tale of inspiration and conception.
